Plymouth: 20th Century City Project

The Architecture Centre Devon and Cornwall have been successful in a recent Heritage Lottery Fund bid (HLF) for a project based on the unique architecture and built environment of Plymouth. The Plymouth: 20th Century City project aims to encourage people to look again at the important 20th Century architectural merits and built environment primarily around the centre of Plymouth. Throughout the two year project, there will be activities and events held around the city. In addition to a website, there will be a printed family activity which will be made available at various locations in Plymouth and resources for local teachers to use.

A vital part of the success of the project will lie in the hands of community involvement. We are looking for people to become be involved in our volunteer group. All ages are welcome, though if under sixteen you will have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You can give as much or as little time as suits you.  Please email info@acdandc.org.uk.
