Big Draw 2010 - 'Mark you Map'

Big Draw 2010 - 'Mark your Map'

A great free activity for half term

During October we are asking everyone to investigate Plymouth City Centre and create their own map of Plymouth.  Be inspired by your own city.

Collect your map marking packs from Plymouth Arts Centre reception and inside you will find everything you need to create your own illustrated map and tour.

It’s free to take part and it’s open to people of all ages and ability (under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult).  Return your maps to Plymouth Arts Centre by the end of October to be entered into a competition to win your own ‘City in a Bag’ or a pair of cinema tickets.

This activity is part of the Big Draw which takes place throughout October each year, offering drawing events for people of all ages and abilities across the UK.  It is a partnership event with the Architecture Centre Devon and Cornwall as part of their ‘Plymouth: 20th century city’ project, Plymouth Arts Centre’s ‘Ambulation’ project and Plymouth City Market and Part Exchange Co.
