Cornwall Design Week 19 November - 23 November 2007

Design Week 2007 logo This is the third year Cornwall Design Week has been staged in the county. This year's county wide event, run in partnership by Cornwall Design Forum, Hidden Art Cornwall, the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society and University College Falmouth, will take place at the Polytechnic Society Falmouth (Falmouth Arts centre) from 19th -23rd November.

"Creative industries are the fastest growing in Cornwall, with design being the key," said Eric Brooke, Cornwall County Council . "The aim of Cornwall Design Week is to show the wealth of talent that exists in the design sector in Cornwall; to encourage design awareness inside and outside of the county and to communicate the value of design to business."

The partnership covers a wide range of different areas of design, including graphics, architecture, website, CGI, product, interior, fashion, brand, Designer-makers, landscape, interactive, packaging, advertising, furniture, industrial and design research.
