Creating Excellence provides knowledge and know how for people involved in regeneration and sustainable communities.  It provides information and advice on best practice through the website, publications, case studies and learning events aimed at developing skills and giving inspiration.

Creating Excellence encourages cross-sector working to find sustainable solutions to development and community issues and offers support to all professionals and communities who are involved in these processes.

Within Creating Excellence - Design South West is an alliance of organisations, active in the region, who together promote design quality in the built environment. Following the publication of "Designing our Environment - towards a better built environment for the South West" (download available) a commission was set up to establish an implementation plan that would address some of the key priorities
