The Big Draw - A Creative Urban Landscape

The Architecture Centre Devon and Cornwall in partnership with The University of Plymouth, hosted this years Big Draw at the 2008 RIBA award winning Roland Levinsky Building in the heart of Plymouth.

Budding architects, children, families and adults of all ages were invited to take part and be inspired by the building that features so prominently in Plymouth to help us to make a giant creative urban landscape. All ages were challenged to draw either a ‘Fantasy Tall Building’, ‘Home of the Future’ and/or ‘Something they would like to see in a green space or park’. Tours of the building went on throughout the day and there was a dot-to-dot competition to win a ‘City in a Bag’.

People were invited to come along and view the work all afternoon and the event ended with an exhibition of the work from the day.
