Education and Skills

At the Architecture Centre Devon and Cornwall, we are dedicated to providing inclusive and inspirational learning opportunities for all to facilitate understanding and engagement with architecture and the built environment.  We aim to offer a dynamic and wide-ranging programme of activity for all ages from school pupils, students and teachers to families and local communities.  We provide support and information that is accessible, relevant and complement the National Curriculum.

By increasing public awareness, we will raise aspirations for better architecture and built environments, which will enhance people's lives, benefit communities and highlight sustainable design.  We teach greater understanding of how local areas are shaped, and how this can affect our lives.  In addition, we deliver an inclusive educational programme within the built environment sector that highlight the wide range of career opportunities for all.

The Architecture Centre Devon and Cornwall can offer a bespoke programme of educational activities, including outreach workshops, site visits and longer-term projects according to a school or organisation’s individual needs.  To find out more, contact - info@acdandc.org.uk .
